This is officially the very first post on the Kholo Crafts blog, so grab something warm, wrap up in a cozy blanket, and prepare to step into the holy land of crochet joy. (Yes, the Lord cares about the work of our hands — Psalm 90:17 says so, and I’m claiming that verse for my yarn ministry.)

Hi, I’m Alita — founder, artisan, dreamer, and a person who has definitely whispered “just one more stitch” at 3AM while the Holy Spirit gently said, “Babygirl, go sleep.”

At Kholo Crafts, I create handmade crochet dolls full of personality — the cute, chunky-cheeked kind that make you smile before you even open the box.
Every stitch is made with:

It’s a one-woman operation powered by Jesus, coffe, and the joy of creating treasures that become part of someone’s story.
Why Start the Kholo Crafts Blog?
Because apparently Instagram captions aren’t supposed to be novels… who knew?
But I also wanted a place where I can invite you deeper behind the scenes — into the fun, the chaos, the testimonies, and the moments when I’m crocheting and suddenly think, “Wow… God really gave me this gift on purpose.”
Also, the world needs to know the truth: crochet dolls are undefeated.
They don’t break like plastic toys.
They don’t scare you in the middle of the night.
They’re made by a real human who prays she doesn’t accidentally stitch her own hair into the project.
